What is Rose Lungs? The idea that those living with Cystic Fibrosis have lungs overflowing with roses; blooming yet covered in thorns. Painfully beautiful, similar to the lives they lead. The rose comes from the story of children living with the illness, pronouncing Cystic Fibrosis as 65 Roses. Here, we do our part to support the fight for a cure by donating 10% of proceeds to Conquer Cystic Fibrosis.
Just a pair of millennial's and their doggo, navigating everyday life with a chronic illness. Delaying a double lung transplant and raising awareness for Cystic Fibrosis along the way. Check out our story and give us some love.
Cystic Fibrosis (CF) primarily affects the lungs and digestive system. People with CF develop an abnormal amount of excessively thick and sticky mucus within the lungs, airways and the digestive system. Lung failure is the major cause of death for someone with CF. Life expectancy for a baby born today with Cystic Fibrosis is only 37. There is no cure. We have chosen Conquer Cystic Fibrosis to receive 10% of sales proceeds because it is a volunteer-run charity, focused on research. And research will lead to a cure.
